"The Lower Room"
 Perfomances: Feb. 16th - 26th

An Easter Drama in two acts by Pat Wooley.  To the skeptical, no proof of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ is sufficient. To the believer who has experienced the risen Christ, no proof is necessary.  The Scriptures record the Resurrection as being witnessed first by women. We find them being the last followers at the cross and the first at the tomb. This suggests that these women were present in Jerusalem during the anxious hours before and during Jesus’ passion. The question then occurs: where were they and what were they doing, thinking and feeling while the men were with Jesus in the Upper Room? Who knows --- perhaps they were gathered in The Lower Room.

Our first meeting will be Friday(2-10-12) at 5:45p.m. at Fazzoli's.  We can eat together for those who want (at our own expense), and we will spend about an hour talking about the show, rehearsal schedules (which will be non-typical for SGT) and the characters.  I hope all of you will be able to come to this, as it will be a first step toward building relationships between characters.

There were so many talented people that auditioned for this play, and it was painful for me to not include more of you, as I know it would have been a very enjoyable experience working with you.  However, there were only six male roles and three female roles, and so I had to make some very tough choices.  I encourage all of you who did not get a part to try out for future plays at Stained Glass Theatre, because you have been gifted with talent that honors the Lord, and you should use that gift for His glory!  I hope that I will have the privilege of working with you in the future.
